Hello, chat group can turn on the function of searching group by group number. The group admin can go to group chat window – press upper right side “Portrait Icon” get in to “Group Settings”, and go to “Group Management” turn on “Group can be searched”, then there will be a group number below the group QR code, and others can search for the group directly in the “Chat Interface”-“Search Box” by the group id code;
"Tips":
1. Secured Enterprise Group, the employees in the company can search and add into groups by internal title or precise group number;
2. If the external users want to join the group, they have to contact the administrator to join the enterprise first, then they can search for the enterprise group by group id number;
3. The General Group, all the DingTalk users can join the group by group id number;
4. The group id number is randomly generated and cannot be customized;
5. If the group admin turn off the "Group can be searched", it cannot be added by searching;
6. You can check your join groups through the "Contacts" - "Group Chat".
